I haven't read the Toradora manga but I finished the whole anime. I'd have to say that it was really nice. Plot twist and drama FTW. About Taiga's personality; well it's just her character, she's unique that way. Definitely she was very "tsun", but don't forget the "dure". She was nice with an aggressive personality. Ryuji's mom is certainly gives off a babyish feeling, but if you watch the whole thing she has her own background story and is really supportive. Anyone, maybe it's just me but most of you seem like the "hack-and-slash" kind of anime fans, which is fine, I personally watch almost all genres. However, Toradora is a romance/slice of life centered anime...But I wasn't that appealed with the marriage part either. I guess you guys just didn't have much taste for it, but just cause you don't like it doesn't mean it's bad.

Exactly! Thank you! This anime fucking blows... What a POS. But all the fanboys and girls were all, "Awesome!" "I love it" and whathaveyou on the Youtube videos of the Toradora eps. It's disgusting. Taiga is about the WORST anime character ever, esp. as a main character, and she likes some guy who's not all that different or more interesting than THE OTHER MAIN CHARACTER. Meanwhile, the main dude is too much of a coward to fight back when Taiga whips his ass a bazillion times OR confess his love to the girl he likes.

And then when she finally finds out his true feelings, she says, "I didn't make a move on him because I wanted you to have him, Taiga. You deserve him more than I do." I'm like, "WHAT?! COME ON! You're way better for him than that bitch."

I endured all 25 or 26 episodes, but it was NOT worth it at all. I want those 2 or 3 days of my life back. Worst anime ever

I personally overall thought the anime was fine; but I really really hated Taiga. In the beginning, I tolerated her since she was 'tsundere' so I was like 'oh okay'. But after awhile, I found her actions extremely selfish and found her overconfident (including the time she "beat" Sumire). I completely agree with you on your rant of Taiga.

How many anime and manga have you read/watched? Do you know that in many cases the manga version and anime version of a series are completely different from each other? I've read/watched both version of some series and have different opinions about them. For example: I like Sailor Moon anime but I hate its manga.

I just finished watching ep 1 of Toradora and hated it for the exact same reasons that you did, and found your blog precisely by searching for "Toradora sucks." I'm glad you feel the same way about all the characters. I don't know what the mass appeal is with this anime.

I watched "The Legend of the Legendary heroes"'s PV and I think it's no different from other fantasy anime (I don't like most of them)
I think I'll pick Shiki, Nurarihyon no Mago, Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin (because it has the word "occult" in its name lol) and Highschool of the Dead for boobs and action.

Yes it is true, both in manga and anime have no information about it at all :D If you ever want to watch Aria again (which I doubt :D) I think you should try to read the manga, easier to enjoy than the anime I think.

Oh now I know about the "small argument" you are talking about :D Yeah, a lot of people have problems with Kan. 3 days ago I received an PM from member named zeroro. He told me about his argument with Kan, at that time I still offline so I dont know about that. Basically zeroro is a man who can read yaoi :D Kan said he is gay and should get the hell of here, and he said he is not and all other stuffs, it turned into quite a big argument I think...Recently there is also a small agrument between Kan and ruud/roy about how Kan is full of himself, and how he thought that sickos is so much better than other forum (gamevn, vnsharing...)

I dont really care anyway, at least he doesn't hate me or wants to fight me. Unlike Exra, the last coversation between us is like "I dont like you and you dont like me, so please stay away from each other, never ever post or reply in my thread again"...or something like that XD
